- 1 lb lump crab meatΒ (picked over for shells)
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbsΒ (or crushed saltines)
- ΒΌ cup mayonnaise
- 1 large eggΒ (lightly beaten)
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoningΒ (or seafood blend)
- 2 green onionsΒ (finely chopped)
- ΒΌ cup red bell pepperΒ (finely diced)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsleyΒ (chopped)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter + 2 tbsp oilΒ (for frying)

- 2 tbsp dill picklesΒ (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
