Counting the Triangles

You’d typically be shown an image with multiple overlapping triangles. The trick is to look carefully for:

Individual triangles – each small triangle standing alone.

Combined triangles – triangles formed by combining two or more smaller triangles.

Large triangles – the biggest triangles that encompass multiple smaller triangles.

Once you’ve counted all possible triangles, you get your total.
